Welcome to Day 1 of the 2026 Recharge Challenge! We're kicking things off with an energizing workout led by Lindsey from @NourishMoveLove.

As a mom of three, Lindsey is all about quick, effective workouts that fit real life and help us show up with more energy for everything else.

Why Movement in a
Sleep Challenge?

A 2023 review of 23 studies found that people who did moderate-intensity movement several times per week:

  • Had better sleep quality
  • Fell asleep faster
  • Had fewer insomnia symptoms1

The same research also found that very intense workouts late at night were more likely to interfere with sleep quality.

Today's Goal:

  1. If you can move earlier in the day, amazing. If not, meet yourself where you're at and move later.
  2. Bonus points: Pair a few minutes of movement with morning sunlight (Pillar 1 for the week.)

Done is better than perfect. Showing up is what counts.

If more energy is one of your intentions for 2026, movement is one of the simplest ways to stack the deck in your favor.

The Workout:
25-Minute Legs + Back

25 Minute Leg + Back Workout

This workout is Day 1 of Lindsey's Athlete 25 program, designed for men and women who want to train like athletes at home. The 2-week program blends simple lifts with speed, power, balance, and mobility work, so you build muscle you can actually use.

Beginner? We've got you covered!

  • Option A: Try the workout without weights.
  • Option B: Start with 5-10% of your body weight in lbs per dumbbell. That's about 8-15 lbs if you weigh 150 lbs.

Disclaimer: If you're new to weight training or have any health concerns, it's best to check with your doctor before doing this workout.
